What Reorderly does
Reorderly is a Shopify app that tells merchants what to reorder, how much, and when, based on their own sales history. It runs inside the Shopify admin and is installed by a merchant for their own store.
What we read from your store
- Products and inventory — product and variant titles, SKUs, and current inventory quantities.
- Orders — only the line items: which variant sold, how many units, and the order date. These are rolled up into daily unit totals per product. We do not read or store customer names, emails, addresses, phone numbers, or payment details.
- Store profile — the store name and the store's contact email, used for the optional weekly digest email.
What we store
- The product catalog above and daily units-sold totals per product (no individual orders, no customers).
- Settings you enter: suppliers, lead times, minimum order quantities, forecast preferences.
- Your plan and subscription status (billing itself is handled entirely by Shopify).
- An access token issued by Shopify so the app can read the data above on your behalf.
Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (Amsterdam region). Connections to Shopify and to the app are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
How long we keep it
For as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall Reorderly, every record for your store — catalog, sales totals, suppliers, settings, and the access token — is deleted immediately, and again in response to Shopify's shop/redact request. Because we hold no customer-identifying data, Shopify'scustomers/data_request and customers/redact requests have nothing to return or erase; we acknowledge them regardless.
Third parties
- Shopify — the source of the data above and the payment processor for subscriptions.
- Railway — application and database hosting.
- Resend — delivers the optional weekly digest email (recipient address, product names, and quantities only). Turn the digest off in Settings at any time.
We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.
Cookies
Reorderly uses Shopify's session tokens to identify your store while the app is open in the admin. It sets no tracking cookies.
